The Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy is embedded in the Center of Integrative Psychiatry (ZIP), the Center of Brain, Behavior and Metabolism (CBBM) and the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH).

We have different fields of interest sharing a vision to understand how the mind and the brain work and to use this understanding to improve quality of life and clinical outcomes of patients with mental health issues. I am pleased to invite you to our webpages to see for yourself examples of the innovative research that makes the Department of Psychiatry & Psychotherapy an exciting place to work and learn.

In order to strengthen our team we are looking for interested academics with backgrounds in medicine, psychology, clinical neuroscience, computational modeling or related fields. If you are interested, please contact us.
