Sleep & Mental Health
Our research focuses on the interplay between sleep and mental health across the life-span by combining different methods such as behavioural measures, event-related potentials, functional neuroimaging and high-density EEG.
Research focus
One major goal is to increase our understanding of the impact of maladaptive cognitive and emotional processes during sleep on the development and maintenance of mental disorders. We further develop novel tools that target these sleep-dependent emotional and cognitive processes with the ultimate goal to benefit psychotherapeutic change and mental health.
